What would change
The Act adds bows, crossbows, arrows and related archery equipment to state restrictions on local regulation of ownership, possession, carrying, commerce and sport-range discharge. It also bars local liability-insurance mandates for firearms or archery equipment, adjusts county authority over bow hunting on subdivision lots from 10 acres or smaller to lots smaller than seven acres, and applies the changes to local measures adopted before, on, or after the Act.
